Mr Ali Al-Sabti

Mr Al-Sabti completed his medical training in Cairo and attained his FRCS from Edinburgh in 1983. He went on to complete his post graduate training in London in 1987 and became an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Harold Wood Hospital and Oldchurch Hospital.

Mr Al-Sabti runs orthopaedic practise at the Spire Hartswood Hospital, Essex Nuffield Hospital and the Cromwell Hospital. His NHS bases are at Queen’s Hospital and King George’s Hospital where he is Clinical Lead. He was Clinical Director for Trauma and Orthopaedics at Barking, Havering and Redbridge Trust from 2001 to 2007. He was also the Chairman of the Medical Association Committee at the Spire Hartswood Hospital from 2005 to 2013.

He treats conditions of the shoulder, elbow, hand and knee and other general orthopaedic conditions. He specialises in shoulder problems and sports injury and treats such conditions arthroscopically. The evolution in shoulder arthroscopic surgery has meant that there is now the technology and expertise available to meet patient high expectations.
